So, I still feel like crawling into a ball and crying… but I’m going to tell you about my weekend a little bit instead of studying like I should be…

Friday:
I don’t remember what I did on Friday.  I think I may have gone out to supper with Kaylyn and had a real nice chat with her, then watched a movie or something later in her apartment.  I believe it was a good time, if I remember correctly.  I know we had good conversation.. that is for sure.

Saturday:
Saturday morning the three of us (Sadie, Megan, and myself) woke up at about 11 or 12 to our fourth roommate missing.  We’re beginning to think she’s part of some sort of super duper secret society because she just walks out of the room sometimes.  It’s interesting, because we never know what’s going on.  Personally, Megan and I like to pretend that she goes to secret meetings where she learns to be a ninja or something.  You go, Glen Coco, you go!  (We really do wonder where Kelsey has been going off to, though. haha)

Then we got ready, met up with Nick, and drove two hours to Palm Beach to watch our boys play basketball against some really good team.  We lost, of course, but apparently the other team smothered a team that’s way better than us, and we held our own.  So, our boys did pretty well, if you ask me.  Before that, though, we went to Chili’s for supper, had group prayer, and stuffed our faces.  Afterwards, we hit up Chick-Fil-A for some ice cream with the basketball boys and ended up having an… err, umm…. awesome time.  (:  I guess that’s what you could call it.  hahaha.  Then I spent the night at Kaylyn’s because I needed some support, and I knew she was the one who would be the best person for that specific job.

Sunday:
Woke up around 10:45am, watched Sydney White with Kaylyn, fasted from wake up to 5pm and prayed for Brandt Russo and Operation Starvation(Check it out here: #mce_temp_url#). A few of us fasted together and stayed in prayer for about 30 minutes for Brandt, the children, the people helping the cause, etc., and we spent a while talking about maybe getting Brandt to come to the college for a showing of his movie “Adopt-A-Jesus.” I’ve seen the trailer for this movie, and I am so stoked for when I actually get to see it.

After that, we all went our separate ways and then a few of us and others met up to head over to Status around 7:45pm. Status was SO good, and last night was my first time going. Last week I hit up Connections to see what it was all about, but after going to Status I’m pretty sure I really enjoy it there. They gave me a lot to think about, and a lot to consider in my prayers and daily walk with Christ. It will be an interesting week with all this still bouncing around in my brain. Give me some time to sort it all out, and I’ll put it up here for you all to read about.

thanks for reading this much. you guys rock. (:

Love in Him,
Megan

I like hearing what you have to say. (:
