Well, currently I’m sitting at the Starbucks in the middle of OIA, drinking my latte and watching the line to go through security grow. Airports are a fun place, and today is the first time I’ve been able to just sit and enjoy them by myself… the last time I was on a plane was about five years ago, so my tummy is being a little silly, too. I’m certainly looking forward to my time in Maryland, and I am so excited to be able to celebrate New Years with Brittany and her awesome family.
I think the thing that is most exciting me is the fact that this is the most last minute thing I’ve ever done. Yesterday I was talking to Britt, and she showed me a video of her family dancing. It is the funniest video I’ve ever seen — her parents are ridiculous! So jokingly I said “I’m coming up there, right now!” But then out of sheer curiosity, I went to Southwest.com and checked out the flights. The thing that sold me was the $67 plane ticket from Baltimore to Florida. The one from here to there is a bit more expensive, but I’m okay with that. $67 is one heck of a deal!
I guess Pittsburgh should be spoken about before Baltimore is…
Pittsburgh was AWESOME. I haven’t seen many of my family members in quite some time, so being able to see them and visit with them was such a blessing! Everyone is growing up nicely, and getting older, but the one thing I love is how the personalities haven’t changed a bit! Heather is still loud and crazy and hilarious, my grandma is still funny and quick-witted… my grandfather…. ohhh, grandpa. He’s still as cranky as ever, with a twinkle in his eye and smirk on his lips. He makes me smile. (: Let’s see… what else? It was cold up there. Real cold. And being from Florida, that means I was freezing my butt off. But it was really alright because we were inside most of the time. The new baby, Ryot, is so much fun to play with. Always smiling and laughing. I brought my camera up there and was fortunate enough to get some good photos. Let me make this clear, I love taking pictures, and I like snapshots. I’ll spend all day snapping away, and if I get one good photo, that means my day is complete. (: Check out this one I caught of my Uncle John…
He’s pretty much an old stud, huh? haha. This was taken outside of “The Man Cave,” which, since I’m a girl, I am clearly not allowed in. To be honest, it’s not that awesome — it’s an old work shed with tools and crap laying around. I’m glad that the boys have their own place, though. Grandpa seems to enjoy it. (;
Well, I’m going to skedaddle now. I hope everyone has a real nice New Years. Please be safe, and if you drink – don’t drive. Being stupid is one thing, but putting your life and others’ lives in jeopardy is another.
Love to all. (:

I like hearing what you have to say. (:
