Cooking Adventure…

Right now, I’m cooking a pork chop in the skillet on our apartment stove. There are many things that make this entertaining…
1. I don’t cook well. Or, at least, I’ve never tried to?
2. I rubbed it down with some spice that I bought at the dollar store. I don’t know what spice, because it’s in spanish. However, it is red and smells spicy, so I’m assuming it’s spicy and hot. (:
3. I’ve never cooked a pork chop. Ever. Let alone on a skillet. In my apartment.
4. Thursday night the fire alarm almost went off because of a pizza I put in a stove. I have a pillow nearby and I am fully prepared to fan the smoke away from the detector should anything happen.
5. I am optimistic about the outcome, because it smells like heaven. (:

I’ll update late about what happens. I think I may make some rice, too. That will be fun. I’ve never made rice. (;
