Current State

Here’s where I’m at…

I am lonely…

…but I am surrounded by people.

I am discouraged…

…but determined.

I am sad…

…but joyful, knowing all the good things are soon to come.

I am cranky…

…but you would be, too, if you were in my position.

I am broken…

…but I can see how God is mending me.

I am needy…

…and Christ knows I need Him.

I am overlooked sometimes…

…but God sees, and He knows.

I am unwanted sometimes…

…but God wants me, all the time.

I am struggling…

…and leaning on the Lord in those struggles.

I am a child…

…and learning to be an adult.

I am tired…

…and He gives me rest.
