My First Friendly Friday

My first Friendly Friday should have been yesterday. But I’d never heard of it until today (Saturday). AllisonO at omyfamilyblog.com posted yesterday about her Friendly Friday. The idea is to do something anonymous and sweet on Fridays.

Examples are:

1. Pay for someone’s drink order in the drive through at Starbucks
2. Pay for the toll of the person behind you on the 417
3. Leave a sticky note on a mirror with encouraging words (I love that Allison did this with the words “You are beautiful!” on them.)
4. etc.

So, I’m going to be using today as my first Friendly Friday, even though it’s Saturday, and then will continue doing this on Fridays like a normal person.

I’m wondering how beautiful this could end up being, and I’ll be praying for God to be glorified in it all… even if I’m just paying for the drink order behind me in the Starbucks drive through.
