I’m taking a time-out. An official pause of this 100 days. Before there’s an uproar, I have an extremely good reason, and I decided this pause would take place yesterday.
My knee. There really is something wrong with it, and I’m going to the doctor at some point next week. It hurts to extend it all the way. It hurts to go up the stairs. It hurts to bend it the wrong way. It hurts just about all the time.
It was hurting on Saturday a bit, but then yesterday I was playing with the kids on the floor at church and now it’s killing me.
Did I mention it’s a wee bit swollen, too?
Maybe I’m being a baby about this, but this is the knee that has always given me problems and the knee that I had to get an MRI on a couple years ago.
So. TIME OUT.
And for those few of you who have mentioned biking, I don’t have a bike here at school and there’s not a bike in the gym at the apartments, and I don’t have a membership to Ironsport yet. I’m considering it since it’s such a good deal for FCC students, but I wouldn’t join until after thanksgiving anyways (since I’ll be at the NMC and home for thanksgiving).
Speaking of the NMC, we leave Thursday morning at 7am. Rapha House will have a booth, as will the Rapha House Haiti Project. The Haiti Project booth will be manned by some FCC students, and there will be one FCC student at the official RH booth at all times. Holler.
I like hearing what you have to say. (:
